At the Rotary Club of Welland’s Curling Social on Tuesday February 13th, District Governor Scott Marcin had the privilege of making some presentations to Welland Rotarians. He talked about the importance of donating to The Rotary Foundation and its humanitarian and educational programs.
He called upon Rotarian Peter Inman to come forward and be recognized for his donations to The Rotary Foundation through the Clubs Members’ annual donations. DG Scott stated that it gives me great pleasure to present you with the emblems of appreciation given to a Paul Harris Fellow – a certificate and pin. We congratulate you, and we thank you for your commitment to the programs of The Rotary Foundation. DG Scott went on to say that today we have the privilege of recognizing a Club Member who is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. He asked Rotarian David Alexander to come forward to receive not one, but two multiple Paul Harris Fellow pins. He presented David with PHF +5 and +6 pins. “Your gifts are truly selfless actions and demonstrate your commitments to our common goals of world understanding and peace. He noted That David was the district Governor Elect.
