Rotarians Deanna Pope-Toth and Sandy Graham from the Rotary Club of Welland are displaying a cheque for $600. The Rotary Club of Welland donated $600 to the United Way of Niagara “Period Promise” Campaign.
Also, several Rotarians purchased product and donated to this worthy cause.
The United Way Niagara states on their website:
“Period products are a basic necessity. If you are living in poverty or are vulnerable in other ways, access to tampons, pads or cups can be challenging especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Period Promise initiative by United Way mobilizes citizens to be a part of the solution. All donations are given to local agencies, food banks and service providers across the region.”
