Co-Chaired by Rotarians Lauren Gallaccio and Don Thorpe, there were 10 very happy winners of brand name purses, including Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors. We had an exciting special 11th Bingo game to win a Gucci Purse valued at $1,170! A 50:50 draw was held, with the winner, Kerrie Calla of Niagara Falls taking home $1,310.
The Rotary Club of Welland held an event to raise funds for community initiatives like the Niagara Children’s Centre, Pathstone’s River House, Spring It Forward Food Drive, YMCA Summer Camp Program, The HOPE Centre, Holy Trinity Church Breakfast Program, Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre, and the Rotary Gold Medallion Graduation Program. Community support is essential for the Club to assist those in need.
Everyone had a great evening, especially the Purse winners: Sande Prevost, Suzanne Gautier, Janet Burattini, Maria Lanzillotta, and Shelley McClemont (all from Welland); Linda Marshall (Hamilton); Jillian Geddes (Grimsby); Rosie Federinko and Margie Rylett (Niagara Falls); and Christine Fazackerley (Fort Erie).
